Dear friends and colleagues, sisters and brothers in the Ethnic Press and Media: As you know we just concluded the survey and we are working towards publishing the document. Soon I would be in a position to invite you to join us for the official presentation of the publication of the survey.

At the same time I am asking the federal and provincial governments to help us financially in order to organize a three full day educational seminar, in order to provided you the necessary knowledge of the rules and regulations needed for a journalist which is working in Canada.

To this extend I am planning to bring to Toronto a number of colleagues from all over Canada, with all their expenses covered by the organization. This is the reason of my communication today, as I want to request from all of you to renew your membership in order to qualify to be part of this event.

As I informed you previously, the members of the board of directors of our organization decided that the annual membership should be in the amount of $ 50.00 dollars, in order to help our treasury cope with the tremendous operating  expenses we are facing daily. Please keep in your mind the benefits the organization offered to you the last two years plus the media pass that we provide you and the lobby we continue on behalf of the members, so you realize that the amount is not an expensive one.
